RA in RABAWOOD stands for Rattan, a naturally renewable palm that grows in some Southeast Asia countries. The world's supply of Rattan provided by the those countries and Vietnam is one of them. Rattan material is light, durable and relatively flexible, it is used for a range of purposes like furniture, shelter and handicraft. The technique that rattan can make such as “rolling” or “trimming” is not applying the feature of bamboo.
BA in RABAWOOD stands for Bamboo, one of the most eco-friendly plants. It is a super sustainable alternative due to its naturally renewing properties. Bamboo image sticks with significant symbol of Vietnamese culture and daily life. The solid, straight and high bamboo trees represent resilience, indomitability and bravery for the Vietnamese people. Nowadays, with Japan Technology, RABAWOOD is able to process from a round timber into flat timber, and then to make CUTTING BOARD, amazing trays from bamboo.
